Welcome to Wascana Wine & U-Brew! Opening our doors at 4129 Albert Street, in 2007, we are the RJ Spagnols flagship store for Saskatchewan. Independantly owned and operated (we are not a franchise), our goal is simple - to provide you with the ultimate experience in crafting award winning wines be it at home, or in-store under the guidance of our expertly trained staff. We exclusively craft and sell RJS Craft winemaking (RJ Spagnols) wine and beer kits - the world's most award winning wines to be crafted by you!
On February 23rd 2011, our second "winery" proudly opened for business at 6807 Rochdale Blvd in NorthWest Regina to offer all our clientele a choice of locations to craft their award winning wines on premise.
Wascana Wine & U-Brew continnues to be the leading U-Brew establishment in the Province of Saskatchewan with more Gold medals than any other U-brew! With the recent ( May, 2011) International Amateur Winemaking Competition results, we now proudly celebrate being the ONLY U-Brew with all our Wine Makers recognized with international medal winning wines!
In August, 2011, Wascana Wine & U-Brew attended the Academy Conference in Penticton, BC with the top 100 U-Brew and wine kit retailers. We were honoured to be awarded our own "Academy Award" for "Best Overall Consumer Experience".
Licensed and permitted under SLGA (Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority) to operate as a U-Vint/U-Brew establishment, since the inception of U-Vint laws (granted in April, 2009), Wascana Wine & U-Brew has produced over 65,000 bottles of wine and beer with our clientele.
Wascana Wine & U-Brew is the ONLY U-Brew to exclusively offer all of our wines from Country of Origin Specific grapes (why settle for no name generic "Merlot", when you can choose Merlot from Chile, or France, or the U.S.A.?).
Our policy is simple - Excellent award winning wines you can craft and enjoy with pride! at Wascana Wine & U-Brew, we don't believe in bragging about 900 bottle an hour corking machines or bottling systems (though our corking and bottling systems are fast, efficient easy to use and fun!), after all, in most cases you may be bottling 30 - 60 bottles of wine (which might take you half an hour), so why the rush? Instead, we believe the bragging rights belong with the award winning wine that you crafted!
